Overview
This course explores public organization management through the lens of value generation, focusing on the differences between public and private organizations. Students will examine the role of the State, the distinction between 'public' and 'private,' and the unique aspects of managing public entities. The course covers various public management models, the structure and functioning of the Peruvian State and its institutions, as well as the political and institutional context in which public management occurs. Additionally, students will be introduced to fundamental concepts of Public Policy, central to the work of public organizations.
