Overview
Music Management is a theoretical and practical course designed to help students understand, analyse, and manage artistic projects and key areas related to music production. It contributes to the general competencies of performing arts production, as well as the analysis, design, and sustainability of projects. The course covers a range of essential topics, including an overview of the Peruvian music market, consumer behaviour and market dynamics, music service providers and key stakeholders, financing strategies, sales strategies, marketing, entrepreneurship, and sustainability. The course focuses on providing students with analytical and managerial tools that they can apply to their own music projects or in support of external projects they may be involved in. With a strong theoretical and practical approach, Music Management aims to train students in critical thinking and evidence-based decision-making, enabling them to make informed choices in key aspects of their careers.
