Culture and Christianity

Considering the importance of analyzing the challenges that contemporary culture poses to Christian thought and the necessary dialogue between them, this course covers the following topics: a brief history of the fundamental question about God and humanity, examining how this question is formulated today (creation and the meaning of human life). It continues with the conception of human beings as presented by biblical data, portraying them as capable of transcendence and called to fullness. The course also addresses the challenges of modern culture (modernity, postmodernity, identity claims, generation gaps, etc.), as well as issues related to religious pluralism and the need for ethical behavior.
