Overview
This course aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the principles of dynamics of multibody systems, and to develop an ability to analyze such systems by motion simulation and data techniques.
Topics covered are related to continuous motion, data-driven modelling and nonlinear system identification: review of kinematics and kinetics of particle motion; kinematics and dynamics of rigid bodies and multi-body systems; Newton-Euler approach; Lagrangian formulation for mechanics of mechanical systems; holonomic and nonholonomic constraints; Lagrange's equations; simple applications to vehicle dynamics and robotics; and data-driven modeling and nonlinear system identification techniques for dynamical systems.
