    This is an advanced theoretical-practical elective course within the Wireless and Optical Technologies curriculum, contributing to the development of the second competence (C2) and sixth competence (C6) in the Graduate Profile. It includes topics such as: Description of multiple access technologies: FDMA/TDMA, CDMA, and OFDMA; detailed review of LTE and LTEAdvanced (4G) mobile systems' operation, functionality, and capacity; fifth-generation (5G) mobile networks, analysis of mobile network applications such as IMS, including Voice over LTE (VoLTE), Voice over New Radio (VoNR), and introduction and discussion of future sixthgeneration (6G) mobile networks.
