Overview
GENERAL OBJECTIVES
1. To study and understand the nature of economic relations in the broader context of the social sciences and their relationship with other disciplines, such as anthropology, sociology, and political science.
2. To study and understand the current situation of the global economy and the Spanish economy within the framework of its membership in the European Union, which requires students to become familiar with the analysis of statistical data (especially those relating to macroeconomic variables) and knowledge of the most important documents relating to international economic agreements, economic policy, and the European integration process.
3. Focus on the analysis of the current situation and problems of the Spanish and global economy, highlighting their social dimension.
4. Encourage critical thinking and debate, especially in coursework.
