    BRIEF DESCRIPTION 

    Nowadays, there is no doubt that the world revolves around digitalization. We are in the so-called era of information and digital transformation. New communication and information technologies act as elements of transformation and cause changes in all sectors of our society, especially in the tourism sector. A sector that is increasingly important as an economic driver of territories

    This fact, coupled with changes in consumption habits, changes in communication and marketing methods, thanks to the emergence of new digital tools, along with the existence of a more interconnected tourist, makes the tourism sector clearly bet on digitalization.

    In this sense, the subject of Digital Tourism Marketing will provide students with the knowledge, techniques, and tools necessary to assume this change. It will address topics such as understanding the digital environment, the importance of customer experience, positioning, etc. Additionally, students will acquire competencies in the use of new marketing channels and new ways of communicating tourism products/services.
