Overview
An introduction to the study and understanding of various kinds of African musics. Includes a survey of music in Africa.
DP requirements: At least 80% attendance at lectures and the completion of all assignments,
projects and tests.Assessment: Tests and assignments 50%; 2-hour written and listening examination in June 50%.
